Carillion is responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, ongoing operation and maintenance of the new £135 million 551-bed acute general Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

We are an affiliate Member of the CIWM which is an institute established to help to enhance and protect the environment. It is the leading professional body for the Waste Industry and Waste Management.

The Green Organisation: The Green Organisation
Green Cleen have won three “Green Apple” awards that the Green Organisation in conjunction with Defra and Municipal Journal award for “Best Environmental Practise”. As 5 Star members of the Organisation we have had to show that we strive to maintain these high standards.

The National Association of Wheeled Bin Washers: The National Association of Wheeled Bin Washers
This association was established to try to both police the industry and act as a spokesman for the industry within the Cleaning Industry. This they do as members of the British Cleaning Council. To be a member of this association we had to show our strict environmental policies and prove that we comply with all Environment Agency and Government guidelines and legalities. We are the only Bin Cleaning Franchise that has been accepted as a member.

WRAS Approved (Water Regulatory Advisory Service) Water Regulatory Advisory Service
Our Bin Cleaning machines have been approved by the Government body (WRAS) for the compliance of filling, recycling and emptying our equipment correctly.

Asset-Skills:  
Green Cleen is involved with Asset-Skills and the “Purple Passport” scheme in order to establish an acceptable and nationally recognised training scheme for its direct employees and Franchisees.

BICSc (British Institute of Cleaning Science): British Institute of Cleaning Science
Green Cleen are members of Britains leading Cleaning Industry Association from which we are able to remain at the forefront of legislation and changes within the industry. Green Cleen acts as a mentoring service for its Franchisees and will warn its Franchisees of changing legislation and how to comply with it, both environmentally, employment matters and general business information.
